Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Each artist manages their own diary, therefore to book with a specific artist, you will need to contact whoever you would like to do your tattoo directly.
It’s easy! Simply direct message any of the artists with the reference images of what you would like, and a description of placement and sizing.
Make sure you include as much information as you can so they can make an accurate judgement on time and price.
A non-refundable deposit will be required, so please make sure you are ready to send one when booking your appointment.
-
DO YOU HAVE PARKING?
Unfortunately we do not have parking. The time limit on parking outside the studio is 30 minutes.
We do however have long stay car parks around us as we are located just off the high street, namely Waterfront and Riverside, and smaller car parks dotted around too.
There is also a 4 hour stay car park on Broad Street.
If you have a very small sitting, you may be able to park for free on Asda, Tesco, or Kingsmead Retail Park, but please be aware they only allow you to stay for a couple of hours maximum.
-
WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT POLICY?
The deposit you leave with your artist is non-refundable.
If you give less than 48 hours notice for a cancellation, your deposit will be considered void and you will have to leave another deposit to make another appointment.
If more than 48 hours notice is given for a cancellation, then you are welcome to rebook your appointment one more time using the deposit you have left, providing that you reschedule within 3 months from the date of your cancelled appointment.
After 3 months, your deposit will no longer be valid.

-
WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Make sure you eat and drink. This is the most important one.
Cleanliness is key. Please ensure you have a shower or a bath before getting tattooed.
Check that you are wearing the correct clothing.
If you are using numbing cream, please make sure you have applied it correctly, and test it before you use it.
If you want to be super prepared, grab yourself some aftercare ready to look after your tattoo! Recommended aftercare is listed on our aftercare guide.
-
WHAT DO I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?
It’s important to dress appropriately for your tattoo. If your tattoo is on your legs, then shorts or easily rolled up trousers are best; for your arms, tank tops and loose fit t-shirts.
For more intimate tattoos i.e. ribs or backs, you can wear loose t-shirts, button up shirts, or a hooded zip up jacket as they are handy to reach areas without you feeling too exposed or cold. We will also provide coverings should you need them in addition to your clothing.
Dressing appropriately will ensure you are comfortable during your appointment, which benefits both you and your artist.
-
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
You don’t need much when getting tattooed, but there are some things that are very important.
You should bring a sugary drink or water with you, along with some food to eat if you are having a longer sitting.
We have a few shops close by, so don’t worry if you forget those things.
If you are lucky enough to look like you may get ID’d, please ensure you bring it with you, or you may be turned away.
We are only doing our job.
-
CAN I GET A TATTOO IF I’M UNDER 18?

No ID? No service.
